In what seems like an ongoing and unending search for human meaning, cultures and traditions spanning the globe and generations have sought to answer the questions of where we came from and where do we go next.

Our lives indeed are full of the symbology of the many and diverse answers to those questions. What is it that drives many of us to attempt to create a lasting impact in our lives and in the world? Will we be relevant after we are gone to our families, our friends, our colleagues, our countries and possibly even to the global community on this earth? Will we even be remembered? And most importantly, what happens to each of us after this short sojourn on this planet?
